moosecon: striking a balance - slide decks for download

The Mobile Operating Systems Conference, in short: moosecon, was a success: Over 500 developers attended the event on the CeBIT premises which took place for the first time this year. The three-day conference offered technical expertise as well as information about trends and market perspectives of mobile platforms and apps.
From now on, the slide decks can be downloaded. Click on the talk titles to see abstract, speaker information and presentation in one window. Missing slide decks will be added as they arrive from the speakers.
On two stages, over 35 speakers shared their insights into the further evolution of hard- and software and into the dynamics of mobile business. Most attention enjoyed Mozilla's Chris Heilmann, who spoke about what's important to know when developing apps for the new mobile operating system Firefox OS and which benefits the system holds for users.
Among the other highlights: a talk about trends in the location-based services market, given by Philipp Kandal, co-founder and CTO of the award-winning navigation company Skobbler, and a particularly vivid presentation by Microsoft evangelist Kristina Rothe about ways to monetise apps through the Windows Phone store.
2014 moosecon will be organised again in close cooperation between Mobile Seasons and Deutsche Messe AG.
